Presentation: The Role of the Test Professional in the Agile Lifecycle

Where does the test professional fit when things move to Agile?  How can testing work into those ultra-short two week cycles? Are automated test tools recommended or just plain required? Join Daryl to discuss how quality control is accomplished in an iterative/incremental Agile process. Daryl will guide you through the steps to make the job of testing compatible with the "new rules" of Agile. He will begin with an overview of the Agile lifecycle, including the various flavors and variations, the principles, practices and common pitfalls. Then he will delve into the changes that today's test professional can expect when working on an Agile project. He will also discuss how to fit an Agile project into a non-Agile organization, including QA/QC career centers, without creating what Daryl calls "Agile illth."  Daryl is well-known for his fast-paced, exciting speaking style and his deep connection with his audiences.
